The Nutrition Month is an annual celebration held every July of the year. This year’s Nutrition Month’s theme, “Kumain Nang Wasto at Maging Aktibo…Push Natin ‘to!” encompassed all the activities held for this year.
In connection with the 2019 Nutrition Month celebration, Binangonan Catholic College conducted different activities to encourage students to make informed food choices and be guided on how to integrate physical activity in daily life.
The celebration was started by a short opening program with the students and faculty members.
Moreover, different contests were conducted weekly starting with Nutriquiz followed by Poster making contest.
The Cooking contest was participated in by the Grade 9 and Grade 10 students and it was held at once in the school quadrangle. The judges found it difficult to decide because according to them all foods were deliciously creative and nutritious.
In collaboration with the MAPEH Department, the Variety Show contest was conducted on July 30, 2019, and it was assigned to Grade 8 students.
The Nutrition month celebration was ended with a Culminating program. In between the presentations is the awarding of certificate of award and participation for the winners and participants of the competitions.
