Distance Learning
- Online interactions using electronic devices.
- No face-to-face (physical) interaction unless allowed by the government regulations.
- Self-paced learning guided by the modules / printed handouts & virtual consultations with the teacher.
SYNCHRONOUS
- Real-time learning interaction
- Teaching and learning sessions are scheduled
- Online tools and oter messaging applications will be used for student-teacher face-to-face (virtual) interactions.
ASYNCHRONOUS
- Pre-recorded sessions with the teacher
- Email can be used to reach the students and receive feedbacks
- Learning material are available via flash drive (USB)
REQUIREMENTS FOR DISTANCE LEARNING
- Stable internet connection
- Desktop, Laptop or Smart phones, headsets/earphones/microphone/speaker, etc.
- MaPSA E-Learning Platform
- Installation of Conference Applications (e.g. Zoom, Google Meet, Messenger Room, etc.)
- Conducive learning space (online/offline) that is free noise and with good ventilation, a quiet and well-lighted are where one can concentrate and be easily visible and recognizable.
- Learning materials must be available in learning space (altar/spiritual symbols, notebooks, pen, prescribed textbooks, portfolio, etc.)
WHY DO WE NEED BOOKS?
Textbook are necessary for continuous learning, they are vital to supplement formative assessments.
