The Supreme Student Government has done another great and successful event this school year. Every year we welcome freshmen who have just started their journey here in BCC, so with the help of the Grade 10 students, we want to welcome them having a mark with a BCCian attitude that they might imply as they journey here in our school.
19th of June 2019 our SSG President together with other officers commenced a meeting and later on decided that the 2019 Welcome Freshmen theme is, Coachella Music and Arts Festival: Where we connect our souls with music and shows.
Preparations prior to the activity were made. Our club adviser Mrs. Jennifer T. Bautista with her fullest support, help us throughout the preparation for the Welcome Freshmen. Grade seven class advisers randomly picked a piece of paper that will show whose icon they will be impersonating and grade ten section they will be partnered with.
A week before, we already plan the stage and ground design for the upcoming event. Students were so busy but at the same time you can see their excitement, delight, and their creativity on thinking how they will perform their performance well. On th 23rd of July, grade 7 and 10 students had their general rehearsal on the school quadrangle for tomorrow’s awaited event.
24th of July, at exactly 8:30 am all students were arranged outside based on their performance number and was assisted by the SSG Officers. The program was led by SSG President Liam Jade Gervacio and SSG Grade 8 Governor Raymond Calleja. They began opening remarks of the event especially the opening of the arc for the welcoming of the grade 7 students with their advisers. The SSG Officers led the event with having first an intermission number, followed by the grade 7 and 10 performances and chants. After all the performances, new teachers also perform their special number while SSG Vice President Mica Ella Udaundo tabulated all the scores of the judges. The program ended and to celebrate it more, sections of grade 7 and 10 shared a wonderful memory by having a boodle fight together. And SSG Officers has a small gift that is given to both grade levels who participated to give thanks for a successful event.
