Admission Policy

Admission is a very important task of every school. It means granting an applicant admission to the school, with the definite understanding that the student and his parents or guardians, agree (in writing) to comply with the scholastic standards of the school, as well as the ideals of Christian education and its rules and regulations.

Registration is handled by the Registrar and Guidance Office under the direct supervision of the office of the Vice President.

Admission Requirements

Elementary
  1. Applicants must submit the following enrolment credentials, forms and requirements to be officially enrolled:
For Toddler/Nursery/Kindergarten
  1. Enrolment Permit from the Guidance Office
  2. Application Form/Information Sheet
  3. Medical/Health Certificate
  4. NSO/PSA issued Birth Certificate
  5. Baptismal Certificate
For Grade 1 – 6
  1. Enrolment Permit from the Guidance Office

The Enrolment Permit is issued only upon the submission of the Report Card (F138) duly signed by the Principal.

Grade 1 applicants should submit their Certification of Completion for Kindergarten.

  1. Medical/Health Certificate
  2. NSO/PSA issued Birth Certificate
  3. Baptismal Certificate
  4. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school last attended
 
Junior High School
  1. Applicants for admission must take and pass the qualifying entrance test and interview.
  2. Qualified applicants must submit the following enrolment credentials, forms and requirements to be officially enrolled:


For Grade 7 and Transferees

  1. Enrolment Permit from the Guidance Office
  2. Application Form/Information Sheet
  3. Medical/Health Certificate
  4. NSO issued Birth Certificate
  5. Baptismal Certificate
  6. Certificate of Good Moral Character from the school last attended
 

For Foreign Students

The requirements for foreign students are the same as for Grades 7-12. Determination of year level is based on DECS Order No. 26 s. 1994, “Placement of Transferees From Foreign Countries Seeking Admission to Philippine Elementary and Secondary Schools”.

Senior High School
  1. Senior high school applicants are exempted from the entrance examination.
  2. Qualified applicants must submit the following enrolment credentials, forms and requirements to be officially enrolled:
 

For Grades 11 – 12

  1. Enrolment Permit from the Guidance Office

The Enrolment Permit is issued only upon the submission of the Report Card (F138) duly signed by the Principal.

College
Freshmen/Transferees

a. Must pass the College Entrance test.
b. Must pass the interview
c. Must submit the following:

1. Original F138/High School Report Card for freshmen Transfer Credentials/Honorable Dismissal for transferees
2. NSO Issued Birth Certificate
3. Baptismal Certificate
4. Certificate of Good Moral Character
5. 2 Copies of 1X1 I.D. Pictures

Old Students

a. Must submit the accomplished clearance slip.

Cross Enrollees

a. Students from other Institutions may cross enroll in the school if properly recommended.
b. The student should present a permit to cross enroll from the other school.

Second Coursers

Generally, college graduates applying for a second degree in another tertiary education are subject to the same requirements for transferees. General Education subjects would be credited. The remaining subjects that needed to be taken would be major subjects and those that are required by the institution.

Screening and Selecting Procedures for New Student and Transferees

1. The guidance office determines the status of the new students based on the score/ result of their college entrance tests and other screening requirements.

2. New students should pass the interview with satisfactory rating. Interview grades should be at least above average to merit admission to any of the college programs.

3. All Freshmen and Transferees are on probation status. They have to prove that they are academically and behaviorally qualified students of the college.

Old students who are “balik-aral”/retained, with subject deficiencies or with disciplinary concerns should report to the Office of the Registrar/Guidance Office for evaluation. They should secure the enrolment permit before proceeding to enroll.

For Junior High School
1. For New Students and Transferees

Online Enrollment Procedures

A. For New Students
  1. Go to Binangonan Catholic College Online Enrollment FB page.
  2. Submit all requirements electronically through the page for evaluation and wait for confirmation of receipt. A waiver will be signed in case documents are not yet available for submission.
    REQUIREMENTS: F138, NSO/PSA Birth Certificate and Baptismal Certificate, Certificate of Good Moral Character
  3. When confirmed, go to MapSA On-Line Admission Platform and fill up admission form and submit. Wait for confirmation.
  4. BCC Online Enrolment will then send schedule of fees. Choose and send to BCC for assessment.
  5. After assessment, BCC Online Enrolment will issue the Student No. You can now pay through RCBC, the school’s official bank partner. Send receipt of payment to BCC to be officially enrolled.
B. For Old Students
  1. Go to Binangonan Catholic College Online Enrollment FB page.
  2. Submit REPORT CARD (F138) through the page for evaluation and wait for confirmation of receipt. A waiver will be signed in case documents are not yet available for submission.
  3. When confirmed, go to MapSA On-Line Admission Platform and fill up admission form and submit. Wait for confirmation.
  4. BCC Online Enrolment will then send schedule of fees. Choose and send to BCC for assessment.
  5. After assessment, you can now pay through RCBC, the school’s official bank partner using the student’s previous no. assigned him/her. Send receipt of payment to BCC to be officially enrolled.
    (The hardcopies of the admission documents still have to be submitted as soon as possible to the Office of the Registrar.)

Office of the Registrar

Requesting and Issuance of Academic Records (Certification, Form137, Transcript of Records,2nd Copy of Diploma and CAV Documents)
  1. The Student/Client must present his/her ID and fill up request/application form for academic records and submit it to clerk-on-charge.
  2. If request is done by a representative, an authorization letter/special power of attorney and ID both of student and representative should be presented.
  3. The Student/Client must pay at the cashier’s office and return the request form to clerk-in-charge. A claim stub indicating when the record requested  can be issued will be given to the Student/Client . The Stub should be presented when claiming the record.
  4. The processing of documents will be within working days. The issuance of the requested record is as follows:
    • Certification – After 1 day
    • Form 137/ Transcript of Records – After 3 days
    • Diploma/CAV Requests – within 1 week
  5. It is important that requested documents be claimed on the specified date of issuance. Failure to do so within six (6) months from the said date will invalidate request and payment.
